My History Behind It
I was surfing the web for some good sword swinging anime, and look what I found Berserk. The title alone oozes rage and testosterone. What a keeper I found.

Plot
The protagonist was raised in a mercenary camp until he got into a fight with his caretaker, which ended in his caretaker’s demise. The mercenary camp went after him, but couldn’t kill him. The boy grew up into a young man who only lived for battle and war. He lead that lifestyle until he met the leader of the Band of the Hawk, which Guts (protagonist) ended up following. Guts fought for his leader, and the leader fought for his own personal goals. What will happen to Guts? I don’t know watch the anime! (Actually I do know)

My Dislikes
I loved this anime until it got caught up in some legal troubles of some nature. They had to stop short, and basically left us in a huge cliffhanger in the end. The manga is also licensed, which pisses me off, but whatever.

Pure Ranting
Even though this anime was not finished I think it is legendary, because of the hardcore action packed into it. Guts literally goes out of his way for blood, and he doesn’t care about getting hurt. Guts is a man through and through who doesn’t know when to stop fighting. His battle roars still gets me happy till this day. Did I mention he has a massive sword (ayo). The battle sequences in this anime and the strategy took a lot of planning, which came out beautifully. There are also demons in this anime, which is also amazing. Take a peak I dare you.

Oh Yah, My Likes
I love how Guts kills everything in his sight without hesitation. His loyalty is amazing and no one could ask for a better soldier, because he is a one man army. His sword is bigger than him, which he waves around at lightening speeds, so he can chop his enemies in one go. Guts is ruthless just like the anime, and if you like what you hear watch the anime.
