My History Behind It
I was surfing the web like I usually do looking for some kick ass anime, and I realized I haven’t watched any good shooters, which led me to Gungrave. Gungrave is an anime that’s not scared of popping some shells, and boy do they pop shells.

Plot
This anime is about a group of young adolescents trying to make it in the world. They live in the ghetto and they try their best to do what they can with what they have. They would often get into random brawls with neighborhood gangsters, and win, but one night one of the members bit off more than they can chew. The group dropped to two members, and those two members joined a crime syndicate, so they can try to make it in the world. They grew more powerful working their way up, but how would that affect their friendship in the long run? (Watch and See)

My Dislikes
The only thing I dislike about this anime is the romance. Not that there is too much of it, but it feels like it never really got resolved, which leaves the viewer frustrated, disgusted, and confused. (Love tends to do that heads up) One more thing, the first two episodes are very weird, which almost made me put this awesome anime down, but if you can get over his cowboy outfit in the first two episodes you got yourself a great anime.

Pure Ranting
Besides the romance there are hardcore shooting scenes, which makes you feel like you want a handgun, and also makes you think what the hell have I been doing with my life without one. The protagonist (Brandon Heat) can play a symphony with his handgun alone in this anime. His skills are off the chart, and did I mention the art is sick in this anime too? Did I also mention the story line is even better?

Oh Yah, My Likes
Me likey almost everything about this anime. People die left and right, and there is no discrimination between good and bad people, which means they can live or die in any scene. I love it, because other animes tend to hold on too hard, and they don’t know when to let go. If this anime held on too hard it would just pop a shell in you.
